Knights fighting snails are a common motif in medieval marginalia. Scholars have postulated many theories to their meaning but no clear answer has shown through. What is less clear is why many of the knights appear to be losing to these slow gastropods. In either event this pair will make a fun addition to your work desk, roleplay table, or perhaps household plant decorations.
